One day Online Instruction and Workshop

Explore the connection of collage though artist trading cards (ATC’s) in this informative and enjoyable one day workshop and ATC exchange. ATCs are a fun and accessible way to share art in community and explore different personal styles or projects.
 
Participants will learn basic cutting, ripping and gluing techniques of collage in a supportive environment creating small works of art to exchange with other artists. Basic cutting, tearing and gluing techniques will be reviewed in conjunction with lessons on composition, design and color. We will also learn how to use recycled and upcycled materials and collage with what we have on hand. Fun ideas and prompts will be explored through examples and exercises. You will also learn how you can create an ATC live event and exchange art within your own community. 
 
Participants have the option to trade ATC’s with classmates! Mail in up to 5 ATC cards to Laura’s PO box and in return Laura will mail you a selection of ATC’s from fellow classmates. 
 
Paricitpants will recieve an email with a Zoom link and best practices on how to prepare for the workshop on June 1st.
